The Person That Leaked Hulk Hogan Tape Revealed!

The Fox Tampa affiliate has reported new details on a police investigation into who leaked the tape containing Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) engaging in sexual acts with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio host Bubba the Love Sponge.
According to Tampa police, a former radio station employee Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd stole home security DVDs that were stored in Bubba’s home office.
Spiceboy then tried selling the video to a “sex-tape broker” in California named Keith Davidson. The goal was to “engage in the extortion of Terry Bollea.”
Spiceboy claimed that he obtained the tapes from a yard sale to continue the ruse. He also tried leaking pictures to TheDirty.com and TMZ to build interest for the bigger play of selling the video, which was eventually leaked to Gawker.
Spiceboy also involved the best friend of his wife, identified as Lori Burbridge, to be a middle-person in the dealings. According to the report, Burbridge co-operated with police detectives in the investigation.
It’s unclear at this point how police are proceeding with the new aspect of this case.
Hogan filed a $100 million lawsuit against Gawker three years ago for publishing portions of the tape. The suit is still ongoing and Hogan lost his WWE job over the summer when portions of the audio track containing racist rants were made public. A trial date is scheduled for First Quarter 2016.
